Water based, non toxic paint is used, passing all safety tests required. Rubbing against rough surfaces can damage the finish. We do recommend the following:

• do not machine wash or dry
• do not use abrasive cleaning products

*Although paint materials are non toxic, we do not recommend that babies put shoes in their mouths.
